Respect and love the aged during the Double Ninth Festival by Yaoting Charity Foundation

On October 9 which is the Double Ninth Festival, in order to carry forward China’s traditional virtues of “respect and love the aged”, Wuxi Yaoting Charity Foundation held the activity entitled “effusive affection warms the golden autumn; love is sent for the Double Ninth Festival” in order to show respect and love to the aged. Eight senior branch secretaries who have been a CPC member for 60 years received the gift bags of Yaoting Charity Foundation. From October 2016, they would be able to receive 500 Yuan as care subsidy from Yaoting Charity Foundation on a monthly basis. This is the third activity of the foundation following its Spring Action to show care to centenarians as well as the 10 million Yuan’s donation to the foundation made by Zhou Yaoting and Zhou Hajiang for the second time. Chen Jia, leader of the Civil Affairs Bureau of Xishan District, Gao Feng, deputy chief of Donggang Town, Zhou Yaoting, honorary president of Wuxi Yaoting Charity Foundation and board chairman of HOdo Group, Gu Jianqing, deputy secretary of the Group’s Party committee, Gong Xindu, executive vice president of HOdo Group and so on were present at the activity.
Wuxi Yaoting Charity Foundation was founded in March 2015 with the personal donation of 10 million Yuan from Zhou Yaotin, HOdo’s board chairman and president Zhou Haijiang and it is the first non-public foundation through the independent operation of HOdo Group. Since establishment, the foundation has successively held many activities such as showing care to the centenarians living with taxuschinensis, 74th anniversary of the CPC, and the Spring Action, which have won widespread high reputation from the public.
