HOdo Qixi Festival

Since 2001, HOdo Group has celebrated the Chinese Valentine's Day, or Qixi Festival, which falls on the seventh day of the seventh month on the Chinese lunar calendar every year, in various ways, such as poetry reading, evening parties and singing contests.

It injects new elements into the traditional festival and extends its cultural connotation.

Care for centenarians

Zhou Haijiang and his father Zhou Yaoting launched the Yaoting Charity Foundation in 2015 with 20 million yuan, with the purpose of helping disadvantaged groups. Over the past three years, it has distributed 100,000 yuan to 27 local centenarians each.

Besides, HOdo also set up the HOdo Charity Foundation for poor employees and the Senior Party Members Foundation.

After the massive earthquake struck Wenchuan, Sichuan province in 2008, Zhou donated one million yuan to support the reconstruction of quake-stricken areas and another one million yuan to three middle schools; In 2010, he donated one million to the quake-stricken Yushu, Qinghai province. Currently, HOdo Group has donated over 300 million yuan.

HOdo Dizigui

The traditional Chinese moral classic Dizigui was written by a scholar more than 300 years ago and deemed a classic textbook on manners and etiquette. Its three-character verses are understandable and trip off the tongue.

To carry forward excellent traditional culture and regularize behaviors, HOdo compiled HOdo Dizigui, with 96 sentences, or 288 Chinese characters, in three-character verses.
